I would say you need to be absolutely sure of your co-workers' characters: 100% kind and compassionate type, before you take such dangerious move.
Let get real, it is a competitive world, and we all want to move up the ladder, at the same time protect our current foothold. So, chances are there will be people looking at you as a threat. And why should you put your neck out to such risk.
Would it be better just employing your well-exposed work experiences to gain faster growth in your job? Think about it: something in life are better left unspoken: period.
