I'm trying to make money online through affiliate programs I haven't made any money yet.?

Would you give up or keep trying? I have major online malls on my site and I also have a casino directory. I also have my online photograph portfolio. Share your story with me. Thank you....

Unstoppable Dreams	I would have to know more details or check out your links to better evaluate. I can tell you this. The key to making it successful is to build traffic. Not just any traffic either. Targeted is vital. I would definitely not give up. Do more research and find solutions. The same goes for your portfolio. It is great to have the portfolio online, but building traffic to it can make all the difference. BEST WISHES!
Samo	I'm sure everyone who responded to your question know what they are doing ... but you don't have all the info that they have. You only have a tiny portuion of their info thru their answers. So to choose which way to go, you now have even more options to add to the ones you have already tried. But the solution is not adding more diverse activities, jumping from one thing to another. To succeed, you need 2 things to start with: 1- Learn internet marketing - there are plenty of free training programs available online. 2- Focus on ONE niche and product, for starters. Make a success of it - yes it takes time and effort but it does get results. Then sure try another product or niche after and make that a success and keeep going. Oh, and NEVER give up but always learn lessons form whatever you do. Look back, did it get you what you wanted? If not why not, if yes how (& repeat the process). Good luck Samo
Devin T.	I've tried a few things, but the only things that get immediate responses are emails. Just start on the horn - email person after person. Remember, a customer is not a sale, they are a person, so treat them like so. I'm going to challenge you to think a bit more. Do some brainstorming. Answer these questions for yourself in complete detail: Why do they need my products? Why should they come to me? Who am I targeting, and where do I find them? How can I make a better connection with my prospectives? How can I help others find what they are looking for? How can I make the answer to their questions more obvious and easier to obtain? Affiliate marketing ain't easy to start off. Whoever gave you the impression that it was...was definitely not prepared to tell you the upfront toils of building credibility, partnerships, customer back-ends, and so on. Takes a lot of time - 6 months to 3 years sometimes. Keep promoting, though. A lot of internet marketing builds on itself. You get out there in the forum, blog, and article world...the search engines pick up your links more often, you get more traffic, your customers add your site to their pages, you get more publicity, and so on. HOWEVER That is only if you give your company some originality. Use your own layout, your own wording, your own domain, etc. Don't just use the affiliate links pages as your home page...you don't work for them, you work WITH them. You should have your own site with your own membership services and downloads - then you can tell your customers about this other company's great deals. Hope it helps! Affiliates is a really good way of monetizing your website and it can be really profitable if set up correctly, it could be a case of simply needing to do a bit more seo on your site or to match your affiliates more with your content, dont give up though the key is to never stop testing, you would be making only tiny mistakes.

fenixfighter	Don't give up. It can be done. Honestly, I don't like doing online malls or casinos. Believe it or not, I took a step downward and started doing online surveys and searched for freebies and I fare better that way.

kitty_rose_blossom	okay well the only really good thing about affiliate marketing is that you don't have to worry about conversion rates or making a product. you're selling something proven to sell, presumably. the fact is though most people never really make a living through affiliate programs. you can maybe make up to $500/month with it, if you're good, but it's not usually worth it. you should look into starting your own online store or selling on ebay. anyway email me if you want any help

Wealth Dreamer	Don't give up.... I believe you are half way there and need to get the foundation knowledge build up. like how to get trageted traffic to your site, and how to covert them to sales.. Firstly, you need to have a mentor which able to guide you to the right way, if you can't find anyone near you, it will be the same if you can find someone online. Learn the foundation right, before decide this will be the right job for you. You need to treat it like a day job in order to earn decent income for you and make it roll by itself in the future.
