I get them all the time. PUT IT IN THE BIN!! They just want you to have their catalogue and get yourself into debt buying stuff from it. sorry but ur better off playing the lottery!! |

Like many information gathering scams...they rely on dimwits to fill out the forms so they can increase their database. You'll never see the £1,000.00. You'll only be offered a discount off your first order. |

 |
They'll send you a catalogue and give you £15 off your first order.
No-one ever wins the grand |

GET RID OF IT, its a scam, I had a littlewoods account and I don't anymore. You end up paying well more back than you spent, don't do it. |

This is just a scam. After all, they know your name and address already ( to send the first letter !) so why don't they just send the cheque!!! |

bin it !!!... there will be more catches than an mfi kitchen |

Do you have to send any money? Divulge your banking details? Become an agent and sell things on their behalf? I think it is the mail order company and not the football pools firm. They will send you a copy of their arm-breaking catalogue and enter your name in a draw in which you could win a Prize after you have placed your first order with them. Its up to you but don't expect a get rich quick scenario. |

Yeah, everbody gets them all the time. Find the nearest bin and throw it in with a laugh. If only they where true we would all be laughing all the way to the bank. |

The catch? It's a scam. They'll either look for personal information ("need your bank account number so we can deposit your winnings...") or they'll ask you to send them a delivery fee or something for your prize. |

read it carefully some wer on it will be list of prizes they want you take an account with them and you will probably get the lowest prize available which will also probably be in shopping vouchers
i know litttlewoods been running this scam for years |

Yes, I had one too. I replied, and am eagerly waiting to see what I've won. I fully expect it to be a £15 voucher to be spent in their catalogue. That's probably the catch. Remember, there's no such thing as a free lunch. |

Just remember... if you've never entered a prize draw then you can't win...
This sounds like a con to me.
Bin it. |

Be suspicious of any contests that claim you are a winner. Especially if you have not entered any contests. |

I've had the same letter twice now. Don't do it and read everything carefully.
They want you to open a 'Credit Account', then when you buy your first purchase the money is added to this account and your free gift is sent (Probably something like a 128MB Memory stick or something). It's like a glorified credit card, only the account only works with Littlewoods and the interest is high.
You never get anything for free! |

usualy with these it means you fill out the form and then they will enter you into a prize draw (or not as is often the case with these dodgy deals. Read the small print carefully. And remember my age old rule of life "if it sounds to good to be true then it probably is" |
|

bluebrancall
|
they always have these prize draws,i am an agent and get them regualy, what happens is they usualy give you a set of numbers, and the winner is drew out at random by computer, and the winning draw wins |

I agree with Mike oxpi. They only want information on you, shred it first, then contact them and ask to be taken of mailing list. |
