I am looking for a way to make some flyers with pictures i have on my digital camera,?

i am opening up a new buisness and need to get the word out, so if anybody knows of any websites that i can go to that will help me do this flyer let me know asap! Thanks

Usually, I just mention this on the side, but I really can't emphasize enough how important it is to not do this yourself if you don't know what you're doing. Asking this question, I can pretty much assume that you don't. You won't be able to learn and understand how to make an effective flyer in a short period of time. It can hurt your business more than it will help. Hire someone else to make your flyer for you. The cost isn't that great and it will be worth it.

From an image stand point, they will assume that your business is of the same quality. If you're just making this stuff up from an article you read online, people will know, and will assume your business runs the same.

From an informational stand point, you may miss some vital piece of information that someone who does this professionally would know needs to be there.

The most important factor is going to be your rate of return. I can tell you from experience, that someone who's just making their own flyers gets an incredibly lower rate of return than someone who has them designed professionally. Would you rather have 15 people respond to your flyer or 50. It's that big of a difference. Unless you're selling dollar products, it's more than worth the money.

Now I'll tell you how you can do it yourself, but I as I said, I wouldn't recommend it.

You can use various office products, but if you want to do it right, you'll want to use professional Desktop Publishing software, such as QuarkXPress or InDesign.

You'll also want to be able to manipulate your images using Photoshop, and to design your own graphics you can use Illustrator, which can also be found at Adobe's website.

That's the software you should be using to design a flyer. Now, you'll need to know how to design a flyer. Just Google or Yahoo information about flyer design, designing a flyer, etc. They'll all tell you the same basic stuff. You won't learn enough or have enough experience to design anything more than a minimal flyer. Maybe something half way decent if you're talented, but it's still better to go with a professional.

Another word of advice, if you decide to do this on your own, you can experiment. You can do test runs in areas that you don't particularly care about to fine tune your flyer, for the areas you're most interested in.

Microsoft Office allows you to do this, however to begin I would suggest that you purchase PrintShop Deluxe it has templates in it that will help you do what you are seeking. You can also print it out yourself. You can also talk to someone that knows about printing, advertising, and/or marketing that wouldn't mind volunterring to help you or train you to do it yourself. Just food for thought. Another thing is using Vista print and upload your picture and/or designs.

As long as you down load your photos and have basic Microsoft programs, you should be good to go. You can use Word or Publisher...any year. If you open up the program and go to insert, there you can pick your photos from where ever they are stored (file)...it takes me no time at all to create these so if you are in need of help...contact me because I would love to help...no charge. Print shop is a good program you can use to make flyers. You can probably purchase it online or at any office supply.

POST YOUR PICS ON YOUR COMPUTER AND BUY A SCANNER AND SCAN THE PHOTOS ON YOUR FLYERS. IN USE MICROSOFT ACCESS OR PUBLISHER.

If you have Microsoft power point you can do it there and attach your pictures to it
