Regardless of whether the SEO company is offshore or onshore, before retaining their services, ask them a series of questions regarding placement of their client websites within the FIRST PAGE of major search engines/directories. If they are unable to show you any FIRST PAGE client websites, then forego using them, because they are obviously not capable of elevating your website, either. And we are not talking about elevation of a branded website nor linking client websites to a directory or composite website of links.
