Some people seem to be lucky in business. It's not as likely that it just fell into their lap.....they were probably just ready for the opportunity. Make sure you're ready too. Don't just sit around and wait for something to happen.
If you have a business, build it by letting people know about what you do. Get involved with some community events like volunteering to expose your business to others. Build an efficient infrastructure so that you "know what you're doing."
All that work you do prepares you and something later....and when that something strikes, you'll be ready to beat out your competition. |

I don't know exactly how much "luck" there is in business. It would depend on what kind of business and any other circumstances involved.
To be a success in business, be as informed as possible. Know all the who, what, when, where, and how. Being knowledgable is the key to being taken seriously.
Also, surround yourself with successful people. This increases any chances for being successful and is great for reputation building as well as a information sharing.
Last of all.......HARDWORK! There is no substitute for getting out there and putting in a great day. If you have employees, this is a great example and promotes positive results and morale. |
