JV Transportation for sure. JV Travel infers that you are a travel agent, ready to make arrangements for vacations, etc. You could also use a name like JV Day Trippers and Tours. Good luck in your venture! |

Any name you choose you'll want to ensure that no one else has prior rights to it. I listed some links where you can do some preliminary name checking. However, please be aware that this is merely scratching the surface of what's out there.
Only comprehensive research will tell you if the name is truly available. But, these links are free & a great place to start, so I'd try them out first.
Comprehensive research consists of looking at marks that are similar in Sound, Appearance or Meaning in the pending & registered Federal AND State trademark files as well as the US National Common-Law files.
There are other sites that offer free searching capabilities in conjunction with their commercial services, so I'm not able to post those links due to the Yahoo! TOS. You'll also want to check domain names & yellow pages, so simply do a search for "free domain name search" and "national yellowpages" and the appropriate links will pop up.

Try JV Coach Co. Your business isn't travel and "transportation" can be misunderstood. "Coach" suggests people transportation and carries with it a feeling of comfort, privacy, security and quality. |

JV Travel, it's catchier! The word transportation is more formal and intimidating!
You can use this catch phrase as a slogan : JV Travel: Getting you closer to your loved one
or you can name your company JV Connect: Connecting you with your loved one
or even JV Link: Linking hearts (or anything other word) together

Travel sounds like a travel agency and transportation sounds like freight. I like transport better for the prison service, but it doesn't really work for the tourist stuff, so "travel and transport" seems good to me as it explains what you will be doing. |
