I am the owner of a company and I want to start a motorcycle night. Any ideas on what we could have there?

It is a fast food place and I need ideas to promote this motorcycle night?Any good ideas?

Hold a different contest each week. Approach bike shops for prize donations.

Vintage bikes ( oldest, original condition,etc.)
Best paint job
Best Custom bike
Best women's bike
Most original

Put an ad in the paper and put posters up inviting the public to come check out the bikes. This would do a lot in the way of changing the public image of bike owners and the restaurant owner would benefit from the extra business.

Check with a graphic designer and printer to see if they will cut you a deal if you include their names under sponsors in your ads.

50/50 draw

Have local bike shops set up a display of new bike accessories etc.

Set up a bulletin board so bike owners can post ads for sales or services, bike activities, etc.

Play some 70's classic rock and serve stuff like chicken wings, etc.

Trivia contest pertaining to bikes etc.

Plan a long bike trip or summer weekend out of town, maybe with some other bike clubs.

Advertise on the radio.

After the first biker night post pictures and a writeup in the local paper so you get word out to any new people that might be interested.

A motorcycle club in the town I live in meet at a coffee shop downtown once a week. They all meet at one end of the main drag and parade together to the restaurant and then leave the same way. People go just to check out the bikes.

No have it like a block party put some christmas lights in the trees and get some friends to do some live music have everyone bring a side dish. do some grilling outside if it's ok with the city and your fast food place makes burgers etc. find some guys who are really into cycle cusom work and have them show off thier stuff and talk about what others can do. Have conteset and prizes

1) Talk to local dealer(s) See if they would be interested in showing new bikes on Motorcycle night...different dealer for each night, one month cycle for the first month.
2) Most areas have cycle clubs and each club has a newsletter. Pay (not much money) for ad in each of the clubs news letters...offer discount on food for anyone on cycle
3) Each food order from cycle drives gets a raffle ticket. Once a month, on cycle night, have a drawing for a leather cycle vest (these do not cost much, you can have them imported from Mexico, allow about 25.00 per vest. You might even get your logo made up as a large patch for the back and have it stitched on the vest.
4) Sponser a cycle rally poker run. Poker runs are a great amount of fun, everyone gets involved, have a very good prize for the winner...dinner of 6, or leather riding coat...whatever.
5) Have a drawing each night from the raffle tickets...you can offer decals (see rhinestoneguy.com, click on Auto/cycle graphics) ...decals can be flames in rhinestones ..peel and stick for helmets or bikes. Also, Rhinestripes...pin striping of rhinestones that make cycles glow
6)Free tank of gas to winner of raffle..make arrangements at local station with billing to you (this cannot cost much ...cycle hold at the tops 6 gallons of gas or so.
7) Invite safety speakers for driving skills...this is always needed. NSF has excellent trainers who will come in for nothing...offer them and theirs free dinner???
8) Have a cycle contest...best tricked out bike wins...have 3 judges that are NOT associated with your firm. Award whatever to the winner and 1st runner up.
Well, I have started the ball rolling, it is in your court now. BUT, I have saved the best for last. ALL bikers get heavily into charity work. Sponser a run for a given charity. Charge entry fee. On cycle night, donate 5-10 % of take to that charity. That will get them there. Also, have you considered doing Sunday AM breakfast for cyclers....most clubs have a monthly run. IF you can swing the run starting from your place, all will have bought a breakfast, get used to "Cycle friendly" atmosphere, and at this breakfast, you can advertise cycle night. You would have to offer Meeting space or time for the club while at the breakfast.
