Hi, there's a number of programs which make html pretty damn easy. One is dreamweaver, and the other is Fireworks, you simply use text frames, add input and links, and then upload. My other suggestion is, if the idea is really good, use a confidentiality agreement (email me and I'll send you one- crzyc4@bigpond.com) and approach a few 'newbie' web companies that are looking to do a joint venture, I'd offer them say 20% of all revenue up to frinstance $25,000. There's always someone wanting to do a deal and if you structure your proposal right, you'll find a backer. Just as a maybe, try adam at www.goglobal.com.au he's in Perth.
They have a very very easy to use system for designing and uploading, I made my site from scratch(www.diamondenergetics.com) and I don't do html

Sometimes hosting services offer extra tools you can use to incorporate into your site. So, if you wanted to instant messaging they may have code for the program and you can just copy it into your normal code. But, if you are going for a special and unique look that really defines your site then someone will have to do all that visual and coding aspects from scratch.

Try reading "HTML For Dummies". That should help. Good luck! Can't wait to view that website!

Just because one has idea about airlines one does not go to learn flying. Nor does one start an airline just because one has flying license.
Running a business is all to gather different ball game. So if you have good idea get professionals to design it for you. In case you are short on funds meet some angel financers who will help your project take off against some equity. They will also help you find venture capitalist who if he finds merit in your idea could make you what you want to be.

I can do HTML pretty good but I don't know how to make all that messaging to each other stuff.

There are a few things you could do.

If you want to go the traditional "learn HTML" route, you can find HTML and CSS learning resources here:

http://www.w3schools.com/

There are hundreds of tutorials available and they are all free. Once you've done that, go to somewhere like sitecube.com (low priced flash websites) or other low cost hosts and find ones that fit your budget.

Be warned though! Your dating site with contact facilities for your visitors might use a TON of bandwidth if you get popular. Every time you need more bandwidth to cope with more traffic your package price will go up unless you can find unlimited hosting somewhere.

If you want to go the less traditional but increasingly popular, "Let the software build the site for you" route - or if you just want to try some things out, get yourself a free website from one of these (or similar) places and get some experience with WYSIWYG HTML editors that do the job for you.

Free sites:

http://www.internet-business-detective.com/create-a-website-absolutely-free.html

These free sites are actually blogs that give you a free sub domain rather than full independent websites but if you have no experience at all, they will help you sort out a few of the problems you might encounter down the road - like how to get people to see your site.

Free HTML editors:

http://www.internet-business-detective.com/free-html-editors.html

I also had a recommendation for "arachnophilia" free HTML editor but haven't had time to review it yet.

Dreamweaver (the editor and builder suite) with Fireworks (the graphics and animation suite) is probably a better program than something like coffeecup - but it also costs in the region of $500 or £350 depending on where you live and it will take a good long time to learn. Just a guide book to learn this is another $50 to $100!) I think coffeecup is a great place to start getting used to HTML editors. It does everything most people want, its easy to learn and its FREE!

You will still need to buy a hosting package and get a domain name so you'll have plenty to spend your cash on! You'll still need to increase your bandwidth as you grow and that could get pretty expensive.

With both these relatively low-cost options you will also have to think about finding keywords, competition analyses, optimizing your site for keywords and search engines, marketing and analysis software and a hundred promotional techniques that will help people find your beautiful site once you have made it. The software for all that is a load more money and another load of learning curves.

If you prefer to go the really untraditional route, you could try a company that offers unlimited bandwidth as standard, all the research tools you will need including all stats and monitoring, marketing guidance and full support.

If you want to design and upload your own HTML you can do that or you can not bother and use the site construction tools they include bundled with the one fee (about 82 cents a day including domain name and unlimited hosting) for complete beginners.

Some things to consider when you are building a new site without a load of technical knowledge are outlined on the following page and there is a video you can watch to find out more if you want.

http://www.internet-business-detective.com/build-successful-website.html

If you want to have a look at other site construction and promotion courses, try here for free download courses in specialist areas:

http://www.internet-business-detective.com/free-business-courses.html

I think that's covered everything you wanted.

Good luck,

J
