Tell your trusted client base that you're expanding into house calls, and ask them if they know of anyone who needs your services at their place of residence or work, and be sure to have bunch of business cards ready.
Hit the streets like in the old days. Offer it to businesses at their work place with brochures and such. Be careful and always have a plan like leaving mini messages at the answering machine or going with a driver. |

If you have a health food store in your area who puts out a monthly magazine, those are good places to place ads. I'd also put a flyer up on their bulletin board. People into health food and organics also know about shiatsu and other massages and want someone who knows how to do it properly.
Our Outpost health food store has a magazine that runs tasteful ads in it every month, many of them massage therapist based. You won't find sleeze in it.

I am over 40 and still play 4 games of Baseball a week an over 30 league and an over 40 league. I am always in pain as is the rest of my team. I think if you find where the leagues play near you, visit the games and hand out cards personally. Take the table with you. A few 2 minute massages will guarantee some business.

First u may know your selected customer. Regarding Mikeippo's comment, you should come and presented your skills to them. If your target customer is any one who love sport, so go to the sport hall and meet some people. Make some friendly conversation, so let people know u and trust u. With a little speaking and demonstrate about massage and health i believe people will search u(of course with card id or something to people can keep in touch with u). COZ THEY BELIEVE YOU. |

Hi,
First of all you must be aware of one fact. There is no way for you to "advertise only to a kind of people". Perverts will look for the exact same keywords and places like a real customer.
Usually all kind of thefts spammers and negative oriented people find their sources in "real world". So you can't just "separate" from all.
You can, though, be more specific about your advertisement. Make more deeply targeted find synonims and use them in your advertisements in hope that perverts will stay away.
Other thing you might get into consideration is: doing your business only on "wemen". And there are plenty of advantages advantages. This will surely zeroing perverts :)

Unfortunately, no matter what wording you use, some "customers" are going to assume that you're just saying that to "cover yourself."
One strategy would be to provide outcall services only to customers who have already had a massage in your office.
Another strategy would be to require advance payment with a credit card; talk with your bank about available verification methods for phone credit-card orders.
You might also make it clear that you will not provide massage services in hotel rooms.
The suggestion of soliciting businesses is a good one -- some companies will hire a massage therapist to come in and give backrubs or full massages as a "reward" for hard work, overtime, etc. You should probably include some disclaimer language -- you might not want to serve customers in "industrial" areas outside regular business hours, for example. |
