If you have plenty of site traffic then your layout needs some work. Your background and layout need to change often to keep it fresh. Try offering specials or discounted items. Have customers register for a free tshirt or music. You can create a blog to attract attention about specials.
Try placing music artilcles on your website to add quality content to your website. At the end of the article have a sales pitch.
Try networking through myspace to create a buzz.

The key to closing the sale is asking for it. Be creative.

How is your web copy? If you've got the traffic that means you're just not converting it into sales.

9 times out of 10 the problem rests in your copy.

Is your site easy to use? Is the sales process obvious?

Do you have a call to action? sometimes just telling people to buy will get them to buy.

Post your URL and maybe we can take a look at it and give better info

List your site on related sites, that is, those that are used by your typical clients.

Establish credibility on your site by having good content that informs potential clients as well as directing them to buy from you.

Sign up to links on Yell.com to your site. People searching on Yell are usually ready to buy so it's a worthwhile investment

Try Googlebase listings. Again, the people clicking on them are already interested in your products

Market off-line as well as on-line. Get in touch with clubs and groups that are interested in the type of music you sell. Write a regular column for publications in your niche - another great way of establishing credibility.

Good luck!

There are three factors in sales. These are:
A - Ease of access. Is the payment method easy, and do people trust your site to deliver? Are the formats right? Do you do mp3, m4a or wma? What do people want?
B - Price. What ae you charging? Is this higher or lower than your compeditors? Can you change that?
C - Range. Do you have lots of music on offer? Is there new stuff? Is it easy to search for? Can you get rarer/more popular stuff?

All this is basic. Then there's stuff like deals/freebies/marketing/advertising. Get your 'name' out there. Offer 5 for the price of three, do something different. And always remember that music sellers these days are competing against Limewire, where you can get music (illegally, but LOTS of people do it) for FREE. That's some tough competition. Hope that helps!
