First www.google.com/addurl/ add your URL to be indexed by Google. Google does not guarantee about when your site will appear in search results.
Build quality links from your theme related sites.
To be indexed faster in Google you could go for some social bookmarking.... |

First of all, instead of typing you site address type it as a link so when Yahoo will crawl the net it will find your website and will crawl it. Secondly, it takes ages for Google to crawl your website. I create website and it wasn't indexed by anybody for about 2 weeks then I subscribed to AdWords and google crawled my website in 2 days after approval.
Please note though that it will take 3-9 months for google and other engines to properly index your site. |

If you have a telephone, you might start telling prospective customers about your site one at a time - it's free.
If you don't let people know you have a site, there will be no desire to see it. You must advertise. I suggest that you write (or have a writer prepare) a press release and submit it to newspapers and relevent magazines to see if it could be published and gain some credibility.
It's all about trust and relationships when it comes to selling. |

Hello Jav, this is a very difficult question as nobody REALLY knows the answer. I have had sites that were indexed within a matter of days, and others that had to wait for 3 months.
Just 1 question: did you actually SUBMIT your site to Google? If not, do it straight away in :
http://www.google.com/addurl/
If you already did: how long does your site exist? If that is over 3 months, then indeed something seems wrong.
I know you do not have any money, but it might be worth the while to start with Google Adwords, even if it's just a few bucks... because then Google will index your site a lot faster.

I suppose you would have targeted some competitive keywords for your website make sure you break down your keywords and ensure that you target the right audience. Then you have to work on building more links for your website. You can do it with free directory submission, article and press releases for your website. Select your niche and participate in social networking site, business directories etc etc etc. Search for web directory in Google and you can find plenty of sites to submit alternatively work on other stuffs too. |

Its a normal thing in google especially if your website is newly created, because google not yet crawled your website. Some of the websites not crawl and index in a few months. All you have to do to get listed in search engine is to create a sitemap.xml and put your link to websites that are favorites by robots like forums. You can get site promoting tools with free trials, have a search and find one that suits you. It also depends on what kind of promotion you want for your company, for example if you happy with having pop-ups come up or wether you want people to deliberately click on your site. When I had an e-site I got funding also from being affiliated with other sites, like amazon. Where you get a percentage of what people buy from there.
I used to come up as 6th for items that I listed on my sites. You can do it, quite cheaply or for free to start with but you do need some promotion to get your business going. If your already a business then just go to google, yahoo or whatever and they will have a business link and help you, give you advice on keywords to put into your html or whatever you need to do. |
