Hi There,
Congratulations on your idea. Like many others before you with great ideas, you will need to market your idea. Before proceeding, may i ask what kind of product that you have? Is it a radically new product with awsome benefit or is it a modification on a product that makes it a killer product?
The type of product that you have will determine how you can market it.
Fundamentally this is what you need,
1. Patent or protect your interlectual property.
2. Have proof that your product works through prototyping.
3. Have some data that supports its marketability.
4. Prepare a business plan to produce and then market your product so that potential investors can assess the products feasibility.
I know this may not be the answer that you are looking or but this is necessary since you do not have money to back this up. Many great products never see the marketplace because they fail and to get one of the four i listed above.
Be prepared to be talked down by nay sayers. Even Donald Trump faced loads of nay sayers because they cannot understand his vision, and Donald is blessed with some money when he first started more then any of us.

Be careful who you share your ideas with.
Are they your target market? Will they ever buy your product?
Do you know that the founder of Priceline.com, whom I saw speak last month, pitched his idea to his poker buddies, and they all said it wouldn't work!
Do your market research first.
Is this product already making money for someone else?
If there are competitors than chances are it's making money for someone.
But don't make a product because you think you are filling a need. People don't buy what they need... they buy what they want.
There are many BROKE inventors in the world with a garage full of product that they can't sell, because they didn't take the time to do proper market research.
