I've paid for webhosting the past yr for my webstore, but am now moving everything to my ebay store. I've already renewed my domain name, and I want to put up a page saying "go to my ebay store...". I don't want to pay the fees for a "50 page store", but do I still need to pay for a host for the 1 page?
Is this (what they mean by) a redirect website? when someone clicks on my domain name, it sends them to my ebay store? |

Your better off setting up a redirect with the domain name registrar. This is the company that registered the domain name for you. There should be a control panel that you can log into where you can set either name servers or a forwarding address (the url of your E-Bay store in this instance).
If the web host registered your domain name but you paid for that domain name to be registered ask them how you can administer the domain name (change settings etc).
By doing this you will not need to pay any hosting fees. If you want to have a page that says go to my e-bay store you will need to have hosting for that page (there are free hosts that you can sign up with and set your domain name to point to the free host - but it may just as well point to your e-bay store and save people the time of loading up a page to click on). |

You dont need to do that. Just go into your domain name account and change the hosting information.
You currently have it directed to your old site. You just need to direct it to your ebay site. If you dont know how to do it, your domain hosting company should have customer service to walk you through it. You dont need to pay your old store company for anything. |

As said previously, you should just be able to redirect your domain name from the registrar you bought your domain from. You hopefully have access to a control panel that allows you to change where your domain points to.
Check with your domain registrars help desk to see how this happens.

no. you can but you don't need pay to 'park' another domain.
you could just have their browser do it.
