I am meeting with insurance reps. I am in the insurance business. There is no budget for the goody baskets. I need to put together about 6 baskets. I was thnking of gift certificates and maybe company mugs. I just need more stuff to fill the baskets.

Not sure what kind of business you have, the clientele or the reason for the baskets...
Include items the client can use that fit the purpose of the baskets...
-If it is to greet them first thing in the morning, include coffees, muffins, bagels, tea, etc.
-If it is a parting gift or something you will give them at the close of a meeting and it is toward evening and not durring the day include chocolates, flutes, and wine
-If it is after a meeting in the afternoon include practical items such as fruits, stationary items, calendars, day planners, pens, pencils, sticky notes, mints, also...if it is right before lunch include small gift cards to a nice local restaurant close to your place of business.
-If they are women include a small picture frame for the desk top, candels in a jar, tissues, mints, chocolate etc
-If they are men include desk sets, quality note pads, etc.
It is totally dependent on your clientele and the type of business you run. Be sure each basket has a business card and at least one item with your company logo on it.

Need more info--what are the goody bags for? (A dinner, a morning meeting, an overnight affair?) What general industry are you in? Who are the clients? Young/old? Investors? Future clients?
