I say call it Eternal Graphics, becuz yur yur screen name is 'myeternalprayer', so why not call it Eternal Graphics, it's origional. Hope this helps u. |

First & Most Important, take a few suggestions of names, and then check to see if they are available so that you can own the internet name, goto >>> http://www.findaname.net to find your name and then reserve it, for you to own it so no one else can use it will be less then $10, also they will arrange so you can have you own site and traffic to your site so people can buy from you..

1. Artsy Fartsy < an attention getter
2. Graphics R Us
3. A-1 Graphics <<< gets you first in the phone book

How are you positioning your studio, and to whom are you marketing?
If you hope to provide services to, and this is just an example, the film industry you will want to have something targetting that biz.... like Reel Designs.
I would suggest that you get together with 2-3 friends (preferably creative ones), and some wine, cheese and a Thesaurus. Everyone is to throw names out, based on the POSITIONING that you provide. No idea being too silly! You can then cobble together some of the more inspired suggestions.
In my experience, this is the best way of coming up with a name.
Also, I really liked Bill's suggestion on searching a name and registering it. Good for preventing future headaches. |

The truth is your business name isn't as important as you may think. I've worked with several graphic designers over the years and it becomes a very personal relationship - so it's all about helping prospective customers get a sense of the experience of doing business with you. That's MUCH, much more important than a name that reflects your products or services.
Your branding and image (as you know) are also more important than the name of your business. If you can give people the impression that you're going to solve their problems wrt graphic design and be a breeze to work with - people will want to do business with you.
