I receved a phone call from travel agents.com and they told me that I quallifiyed for a 3 day 2 night vacation with 400.00 worth of airline ticket's and they told me that all i had to do was verify that the routing number they gave me was off my checking account and they asked me to tell them my account number so they could make sure that they were sending the vacation package to the right person. They all ready had my account number |

Remember the old adage, you get nothing for free. Do not do it. All you need it the account number and routing number to transfer funds. They could say later that you initiated the purchase. SCAM!! |

The website is a crappy yeah its a fraud. Your an idiot for believing that bs when ever some stranger asks you in a phone call or an email for your bank account number of course you dont give it to them when you do that you end up broke and with your idenitity stolen. This one is your fault pal. |

It could be a scam or it could be a something for something gimmick. To find out if they are legit, try checking with the better business bureau. www.bbb.com I always check there first when it comes to anything regarding online purchases, etc. If you find out you have been scammed, first thing to do is contact your bank and the state police to do an investigation. This has already happened to me once, I was able to retreive the money, but others arent so lucky. Lastly, if it feels to good to be true, it probably is. Good luck. |

Never, ever, give out your personal or bank account details in answer to an email as you describe. An excellent adage to remember is: "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is!" Even if they turn out to be valid, which I doubt, they should not have your account number. Contact your bank right away. |
