Let's see. The domain is owned by some dude in Memphis, whose email address is "hustle in, hustle out" (check it out at http://whois.domaintools.com/misticads.com
Someone (probably the dude in Memphis) has posted at least 8 copies of this same "inquiry," and the effort has succeeded in generating entries when you search Google for "misticads" (see http://www.google.com/search?q=misticads or better, see http://www.google.com/search?q=misticads+scam)
Now, let's look at the misticads.com web site.
(1) There are links for "Terms of Use" and "Privacy Policy," but they lead to blank web pages.
(2) When you submit an ad, your are asked to check that you have read and accept the "Terms of Use."
(3) There is no company name, address, or contact info for this company.
(4) The $100 offer link is to a blank page.
This scammer is just trying to drive traffic to his site by abusing Yahoo Answers. I don't understand why Yahoo hasn't deleted these "questions" and set up a block to prevent future posts mentioning misticads.com |
