i understand what your saying mate , i too run a business, and im fed up with marketing companys phoning me up. i must get about 7 or 8 calls a day. drives me round the bend ! most of them try to sell me cheap phone tarifs and how they can save me 100s of pounds on my phone bill ! , then theres the ones that as soon as you say hello and the company name they hang up ! , this is to find out the companys still in business,, i hate to be rude but sometimes i swear at them and put the phone down on them ! |

P.S. Heathen's right :B.T.'s "Telephone Preference " service is the way to go. There's also a B.T. service which bars "anonymous" calls from your line,you may need this to protect you from telesales personnel you've upset!!!!

Just try this next time they phone: Start talking in a shaky voice, pretend you are crying, and start talking about how sad you are because that ***** of a whore had gone and shaggged your best mate. Tell'em you are gonna find the b*stard and kill him. Just ask the advertising caller to listen to you, because you need a sympathetic ear at the moment and just carry on. See how long they last... |

you can register with the telephone preference service i cant remember the number but if you call 150 and ask for it they HAVE to give it to you i know cos i used to work in a bt call centre it takes about 8 weeks to finalise but it works |
