Well, as an advertisers, I don't really care how many hits you get, I care how many unique visitors you get and how many click-throughs I get to my site.

Most companies will allow you link advertising and pay you a small commission on any sales you provide them through the link but otherwise it's going to be a difficult sell. How do you advertise your website . . .

15,000 hits is more than enough. without your own adserving software you are best off signing up with large advertising networks, Google adsense is ok but those damn text ads cheapen a site in my opinion, maybe go for their display advertising option, that way you get paid on an impressions basis rather than for clicks alone. Look into other advertising networks (there's loads around) you can set up and account, insert some code on your page, and display ads.

In addition you should allow direct advertisers, though they would have to be on a rental basis rather than cpc or cpm without an adserver to track them. you will need to quote page impressions rather than visitors though as this is the language advertisers will be talking.

Also, if you have a decent page rank or good seo listings you could sell text links for people looking to boost their rankings. Set up a page on your site for advertisers and see if you get any enruiries, you can then be flexible to their needs.
