I started my own online bizz ,How do i get people to come to the site.?

I have a Home&Garden Store and A Electronics store and i don't know how to get traffic,i'm looking for a cheap easy fast way of getting people to come and buy or just get them there,i offer a $10.00 gift card to first time registers,And if they join and become a member they get 25% off there first order and 10% off every order after thats the "discount club membership"now the other is "VIP MEMBERSHIP"NOW FOR THAT ONE THEY GET A $50.00 GIFT CARD EVERY MONTH as long as there member dues are paid which is 5.99 per month for the first membership and 19.99 a month for the VIP.Whar are some other ideas that i'm not trying.

hello...what you are doing now is correct...shameless promotion... just getting your name and products out there and offering enticements will pull people in and your biz will grow (if you have good products and customer services).

On your next post, maybe add a link/your biz web address so people who answer your blogs can check it out.

No one wants to pay a membership to spend more money....just offer discounts to everyone...I mean it makes cents (not dollars) in your end because people are paying monthly dues even when they don't spend their gift card, but as a consumer that's a rip off depending how often they shop. And is the $50 per month...can you combine them???

How about social bookmarking it? Try stumble upon or digg. If your site is really good, you will get even more people visiting. Generally, if you provide a good service, people would tell each other and more and more people will come, just give it some time.

All of that is very good after they got to your site. How do they find your site in the first place?? That is your question. I have answered this already for some one else and it was the best answer. Search for it and you will know.

Advertisement!!! Print you some cutelittle business cards on you computor and start pinning them up at places like the grocey store. You may check with some hotel chains they usually dont mind if people llleave ther business cards at the hotel lobby and check with you local feed store they will let you put some on their counter.Now that should earn me 10 points since I wont get 10 dollars for joining your club.LOL

Nobody will come to your website if nobody is linking to it, so do a series of press releases:

You really, really need to read some internet marketing articles and write up an action plan. The best way to promote for free is (1) submit urls to different search engines. People would definitely have their first search on these search engines; (2) You could put up banners, leaflets, or any print material of your site to your local community.
