yes mindset of the people are changed,people like advertisments only when they are differnt,people do not like direct advertisements.If we like to showcase product we should do it in concept which makes people to think or atleast get fun out of it.Me too is not from advertisement family but i like good advertisements and and have some good concepts to make it.. |

First, you are entitled to your opinion.
But, just when you think that there are no new marketing techinques, along comes something like the Internet. And that was totally unexpected a few decades ago.
Now you can also get ads on your cell phone. The idea of sending messages directly to consumers is on it's way. They may target your home, office, or car, in the future.
But all the old-fashioned media, like TV, radio, newspaper, Yellow Pages, direct mail, magazines, and billboards are still around too. They have not dropped out of sight, even with the other new media. So, are advertisements outdated? No, they are just UPDATED. |

Yes, the way people shop and choose to receive their information has changed, but the advertising world has adapted quite well.
The only way to measure ineffectiveness is by your sales. If your target market isn't responding to your medium, you try another. My advertising is aimed at senior citizens and their children (possible caregivers), so the latest isn't the best. Tried and true newspaper advertisements always take the lead in my industry.
So, when thinking of a new concept, think less broad and more targeted. |

If you don't belong to the advertising world, then it will be difficult to ever get your idea off the ground. Radio, Television, Newspaper, and Magazine's would strong disagree with you that their concepts are outdated. They sell a ton of product for companies. |

Advertisement concepts are not exactly outdated, it's just that there is a lot of clutter, we come across hundreds of ads in different forms throughout the day. It can be through TV ads, magazine ads, newspaper ads, billboards, ads on buses, railway stations, airports....the list is endless.
Honestly, how many ads do we remember, and even if we do, how many influence us to buy a product?
The novel way to promote products is to think about new ideas, and unconventional PR campaigns , like offering trial products at a store, having contests at a radio station etc.
Spending advertising millions doesn't guarantee sucsess for a brand. The key is to support advertising with many other activities like shop promotion, pr campaigns, events etc. |
