It depends on what kind of freelance work you want to do. Do you want to be a freelance writer? If so, I would walk right into the newspaper offices around your area and let them know you are interested in freelance writing. If interested in doing freelance music entertainment, etc, maybe put ads up all over town around the bars and other areas where there is often music entertainment. Whatever type of work you are looking for just walk right into the businesses and drop off your resume directly with the manager of that business, and smile and explain why you would be a great candidate to do freelance work for them. |

What line of work are you in? Is it computer related? tru guru.com, getafreelancer.com and rentacoder.com to bid on specific jobs, if not find similar sites in your line of expertise, those mentioned here also publish copywriting, translation and marketing jobs |

What type of freelance work? Place your area of interest in a search engine with the symbol "+" (without the quotes) followed by the word freelance and check your results.
If you edit your question and add your area of interest you will get better answers and possibly some direct referrals. |
