I want to start a website to provide just educational information.?

Don't sell any product.
Don't display any advt.
Don't provide any service just provide information.

1) How website owners earn just to provide information?
2) How much I can earn?

This isn't all bad so read the whole answer.
Sorry to burst your bubble. Honestly I doubt you'd make much.
There are tons of educational sites out there. Some good, some bad. The good ones are usually owned by massive companies who can get experts to provide the information. People will only use you site if they know the information is accurate.

Also, people will be reluctant to pay for this information since you can get it for free. You would have to make money from advertisers and it is notoriously difficult to get them.

Another thing you have to realise is that thousands of sites go online a day but only a couple stay for a decent period of time. It's because the site isn't professionally designed. they get designed by people with no real experience using basic software. Understand that these days people know quality on the net and if your site doesn't meet up to there expectations they simply will leave and never return.

Think of the most successful sites that have been around for years and take a look at them. Could you create a site like that? Could you really offer a service that people would be willing to visit regularly? Would people pay to advertise on your site?

Keep in mind that a site that will generate any decent amount of money for any decent period is unlikely to be a one man project. The design, development and maintenance is quite simply too much. Assuming you want a good, successful site.

I've been designing and developing sites for a long time now and even if I do my job perfectly and create a great site most of the time they don't last because the customers basic site concept was flawed. You can dress a bad idea up in pretty clothes but eventually people will see the flaws. People are so fickle. They want things easy, instant and readily available. If you even screw up navigation or make it tough for someone to find what they want right now they will leave within seconds.

If you are going to do this. Do as much research as possible. Learn proper design and development or pay someone to do it for you. Do market research so you know if you even have a market. I haven't even touched on all it takes to get this right.
I'm really not trying to crash your idea here. I'm trying to help you see the reality and save you from wasting time and money on a failed idea.

First, it's quite noble to start a website to provide educational information. But if you are not selling a product (and I think it's safe to assume that would include selling memberships), are not displaying any advertisements and are not offering any services, I think it's fair to say you will never make any money at all. However, if your intent is to create a website to network and eventually find a new job or a higher sense of self-worth - you will eventually earn quite a bit. Good luck!

They don't earn very much at all unless they get sponsored by a big company such as google or yahoo, i know because me and my cousin already own a website we havn't made it yet but we bought ownership to it the website will be called (ExaltedStudieos) we already got sponsored by google after we showed the beta version of the site also to run a website you will need to be able to pay a monthy fee

there are lots of free domains that you can get. you can advertise on your site so that you can earn from it.
