You should thank your co-workers and your boss for helping you to be in the placement you have achieved. Then you should modestly talk about your plans for the future and where you want to take your department based on your new position. You want to ask for your co-workers assistance to reach this vision, which will improve the company and be of benefit to your bosses, co-workers and the folks who use the products you make or sell. Speak from your heart about things you know and believe from personal experience. This will make you a good public speaker. Read Dale Carnegie's book on public speaking, if you will be doing more of this inthe future. Good luck. |

Umm...just stand up there looking puzzled, start crying and say..."I'm speechless", then gracefully walk off the stage with your hands in your face weeping like a baby. It will be a moving scene plus it will get you out of having to spend the day writing a speech. Enjoy your Sunday:) |

If you were promoted to a new position or into a different job position, Just tell something about your employment with your company. Relate only those things you know about, it does not have to be about the new job. Thank the boss that promoted you and the audience for their time. Keep it short, humble and with a smile.

State your name where you're from and you need a punch line for a joke to ease the tension. Next you need to state your businesss for being there and let everybody know why they're there. Get the audience involved with yes no questions 0r ask them how many people such and such and then they'll raise their hand. You have to walk them through pamplets or what ever. |

em, I will guess you mean promoted and have no idea what tmr is so will ignore it.
Start with something funny that will get everyones attention, but that also is relevant to your workplace. Next state why you enjoy your place of work and what you plan to do in your new position. Elaborate on both. Close out with something that clearly ties back to the original joke but is not funny. Good luck |
