anybody have ideas? i know SEO and tellin friends and family but what else is good?

Getting traffic is a combination of a lot of things. The key to success is to create great content that visitors want to use, search engines will love and other websites will naturally link to. Of course, it's easier said than done.

quality links would increase your website page rank and bring traffic as well. Just remember that every link is not good. Start link building campaing to get more and more traffic coming to your site

Keep on top of the news in your niche, you may get lucky and find some hot news that no one else has caught onto yet, add it to your site and promote it on social bookmarking sites and before you know it you could be the first indexed site on google for that news and reaping the benefits.

It works, I broke a story one time, hardly anyone had caught onto it , I made a post, quickly promoted it on half a dozen social bookmark sites and within half an hour I was indexed in google for the key phrase everyone would use and immediately saw a huge influx of traffic as the story caught.
