Hi,
I had a quick look over your site and noted the following.
- Your Title tag needs to be the first tag after the <head> tag.
- It's good you have your meta description and keywords in place but your title tag holds more weight, in fact meta tags are no longer given any weight for keywords.
- You should really be making use of heading tags as it helps increase keyword relecvancy.
- Your site is fairly new so you have no PageRank. You really need to start some major linking in order to gain some PageRank for the next update.
- Your backlinks need to be relevant and anchored, you should also deep link, meaning linking to subdomains.
- Another thing I noticed was that your sub domains are simply filed as page1 , 2 etc... , this is not the best way to optimise and should include keywords
for example you could create a seperate page for each product and file it as http://www.keeliadesigns.co.uk/amethyst-hoop-gemstone-earrings.htm
I only had a really quick look so forgive me if I got some info incorrect.

Try to create more inbound links from other jewellery sites this will greatly help with off page seo
Also target those jewellery sites with a higher PR of 5 and above

Here you could for example add your website to social bookmarking websites such as digg.com, propeller.com, mixx.com stumbleupon.com and others.
This way you will get incomming links from these websites (which usually rank high in the search engines because of their high trust), and it's free as well.

To get high in Google rankings you have to have other sites that are listed on Google link to your site. The more links there are, the higher you get on the list. .
But as for keywords, think of the average people who don't know anything at all about your subject (which is probably 90% of all people buying jewelry).
Using different a combination of the same word(s).
e.g. Jewelry, hand made, handmade, hand made jewelry, handmade jewelry, etc...
Some larger sites have about 40-50 different keywords just in the meta-tags. |
