Wait, so you want to build a market basket of name-brand products that will help us fulfill our every human need? Assuming that you're working from a model resembling Maslow's hierarchy of needs, that'll be rather tough.
From lowest-order needs to highest:
1. Physiological needs - food, shelter, clothing, there are plenty of products to satisfy these needs.
2. Safety - Again, this could range from pointed sticks to home alarm systems. So products can satisfy our needs.
3. Love / Belonging - You can't buy love per se, but there are products associated with love, like online personals and diamonds.
4. Status (esteem) - Although truly attained from within, people try to earn status by buying luxury items. So let's put fast cars and bejeweled watches in this category.
5. Actualization - We've bent the rules in other categories, but actualization is the trait of being who you want to be. Living your dreams. This simply cannot come from a product. As John Candy said in /Cool Runnings/, "If you're not enough without it, you'll never be enough with it."
So there really are no products that can satisfy the higher-order needs. These are things that come from finding a purpose in life and being part of a community. Advertisers constantly try to convince us otherwise, but things cannot replace people. |

according to Maslow Pyramid of needs:(in order of preference and importance):
1.physiological needs
2.security
3.social needs
4.self esteem
5.actualization
you can use this pyramid to sell any product you want.
For example: the juice TROPICANA , it can satisfy your physiological needs when you are thirsty, it can give you a feeling of security because it is a 100 % pure juice, it is healthy, you can drink it with friends, during a party, it can gives u a self esteem, because you are proving your status as a wise consumer, while your actualization can be satisfied by relating the exotic(tropical) to your life. |

i.e.: some of them buy chocolate bars to satisfy hunger, some of them will buy chocolate bars to look sexy, some of them will buy chocolate for sugar... etc. etc.
nobody will buy a chocolate bar to learn how to read. so be reasonable in your decision |
