First, a telemarketer doesn't have to take you off their list unless you first verify your name, address, and phone number (Yes, they have that info, but for some reason you have to verify). A lot of people tell them to stop calling and then hang up. That does NOT get you off the list.
Second, register on the National Do Not Call list and you won't get any more solicitation calls. Note: This list does not stop calls from political parties or religious groups. |

if you live in California there is a law that if you ask them to stop calling you they must remove you from their list for 1 year. I always tell them. "Do not call me again for one year per California State Law". I dont get bothered at all. |

Tell them that you would like to not receive any more calls, and tell them to put me on your Do Not Call list.
Go to this site
https://www.donotcall.gov/default.aspx
and sign up, under law if you are on that list, they can not call you.
And trust me, they won't call you. If they do, the fine for that is thousands of dollars. |

If you are on the dnc list it is againt the law for them to be calling you. Find out what company they are with and report them. that will stop them, there is a heavy fine for calling people on the do not call list. |

Send them over to me, I love getting called.
I set up a special web page just for telemarketer so I ask them if they haven't heard that everyone is getting rich on the Internet and if so, why are they stuck in a dead-end job where everyone hates them?
Then I send them to my website and sign them up to make money for me. Heck this might even work for Cash Crate so they wouldn't have to post so much here. |

A lot of the calls are made by an auto-dialer, so the calls won't stop until your phone # is removed from the Call List.
Tell them they are calling a business and to remove the number from their lists immediately.......It's always worked for me. |

um well... to set things strait for you, its what they get payed to do. anyway, obviously u no if it is a telomarketer or not. but when my friend gets one then she fakes to talk in some weird made up language and THEY end up being the ones that hang up. (i have seen it before it is a hallarious thing to watch:-) it works all the time. but if that doesnt work, then u could tell them that u run a buisness out of your home and you cant wait time talking to them and tell them to put u on there "do not call list". they always believe u and never call back.
hope it works for ya! |

Yes, it their incentive they are trying to make a sale or get you to update their product. I heard they are going to be calling on the cellular phone, but you can stop those telemarketer from calling you though. |

Put yourself on the "Do Not Call List" and then if you get another call - ask them for their name and contact details - THEN tell them you are on the DNC list and you will be reporting them. As they get fined thousands - that phone will go down so quick believe me! |

Get caller ID and don't answer the phone unless you recognize the number. It is their JOB. |
