Assuming you have a consumer product, you'd want to throw some PR at it to generate some hype. This could be through some collateral materials distributed to possible vendors, through some ads, some event marketing strategy. Make people aware of the product and of the product's point of differentiation and they will want it. Get the hype, the buyers/distributers will respect you for promoting it, for being serious about it, and they will carry the product. |

Create a buzz. Why would someone want to purchase your product? What problem does it solve? Creating the buzz is stimulating the demand for your product. Pick small targeted markets and work your way up. This helps to control your expenses for marketing. Come up with some creative ways to promote the product like passing it out for free or finding someone familiar to the target market who will endorse your product at a community event, local tv, radio, or newspaper. New product launches can be expensive but creativity will neutralize the expenses. There's a lot of free stuff you can do that only require your time and patience. |

Gather a successful team of Regional Sales directors, say 5, to begin to cover US...concentrate on Florida, California and New York as a launching environment....present the product as "HIP" and prestigious to own. Place with a celebrity, or have it appear in an upcoming movie release, or in the movie . Place in an appropriate retail venue for ease of purchase. |

talk to stores, try to convince them your product will sell. don't approach any large chain retail stores. they will ignore you until you have proof your product will sell. it helps to have a good product in the first place. |

It depends on the product/market. I would do market research first. Is it a new product or not, what kind of product are you selling. Is it a luxury product or cheap product. What is the market. How you launch the product depends on your market (who are your potential buyers), and what kind of image you want to sell. And also depends on costs and budget of course. |
