Im an aspiring rapper and whats the best ways to get my name out?

I am in ATL (you know the deal on ATL)
and there are many many kids like you here aspiring to do the same but I have seen and heard of some TOTALLY unbelievable stories about peopele who make it getting burned BAD
Like they are saying on satellite radio that Lil wayne has NOT
even recieved a publishing check on 4 ALBUMS
all he received was a car..a phantom....

Do you remember a group name UTFO?? they were BIG in 1986
when your parents was your age ..ASK THEM I am sure they listened to them , (those were the days when they were all about the party not out here trying to be hard in the club)

the DJ Mix master ice told me they only received .05 per 12 inch record sold ..buddy that is only 1 PERCENT !!!!!!
and you already know about TLC only making $50k in a year
Atlanta is a meeca for the entertainment industry but it appears that only the top 1 percent of a particular record organization is making all the money..I know Mobb deep gets 50%, Slim thug does well too and some others are too but overall most are making most of the money on concerts, royaltys, special appearances, and special promotions and such ..
Speaking of special promotions, that is where the money is at
because even lebron james made more with NIKE that with the NBA team he plays for
Ja rule and Ashante got $500,000 just to show up at a rich white girls house in FLORIDA for a party
so dont let that fool you that if you sell a bunch of records you are gonna get rich... Gucci mane is broke as hell and got only a dodge magnum
I can go on and on and on but I wont bore you with that but keep doing your thang, just dont use samples too much because that is #1 the easy way out
#2 too many rappers are using songs that were not played on the radio that were sampled "not hits but misses in other words"
from groups that they dont think no one remembers
for example you know that song " you cant stop the reign"
by DJ Kay slay that song was sampled from a group called
loose ends (one of my favorite groups) who was popular in the late 80's and it was a song they NEVER played on the radio and they dont think people dont know about these "backdoor" hits ..the song is a good song but anyway
DONT DO THAT ......that is cheesy ..
another example is "welcome to atlanta" by jermaine depree
that was sampled by Boogie down productions (BDP)
and KRS One called "WHY IS THAT".
That was a GOOD song but they NEVER played that on the radio at all ..hey .....................I notice EVERYTHING
