Free is a relative term. Is life "free?" Breathing is free but sucking in bad air can kill. So there is a cost to "free" things already. The term "free" in marketing is always expected to have a catch. it just depends on the amount or the consequences. |

What they are having you pay for is the shipping and handling. Yes, the shipping is probably only $2, so the other $3 is to pay for the labor of bottling it and packing it and shipping it to you. |

Sure are. I have seen stores put "sale" on items and sell the item for more than it can be purchased elsewhere. Greed get's a lot of us in trouble. |

No, it is not. However, having done the e-bay thing, i definitely understand shipping and handling costs have to come from somewhere. If it is a $30.00 bottle with a $4.95 shipping and handling fee, it is worth paying the $4.95 to not have to pay for the product itself.
Whenever possible, buy local. That way you support local economy, and avoid shipping and handling fees. |

it depends on how they ship it... under a pound for us priorty mail is $4.05. The rest is prob a handling fee.
companies can really get you with that "shipping and handling" thing... often the "handling" part is what really costs you. |
