on MSN or by other contacts. While Alibaba is a great source, some fraudulent elements have sneaked into it, so be careful. As for frauds related to making money online, check out this website:

Alibaba is a great source for finding companies in china or India. They have a rating service of companies that helps to weed out any fraud. In the end, however, it is basically an electronic yellow pages, putting buyers in touch with sellers.
As an international buyer, you will be dealing with Bank Letter of Credits, which requires you to prepay the funds to your bank, who opens a letter of credit. The bank holds the money and only releases to the seller after all the documents have been delivered. There is a fee for this. It doesnt mean you wont get screwed, but it does provide some protection. |

No It is not, I have done business there, but you have to be cautious however if your looking to buy phones from Alibaba and Resell stay away from the phone business then, and Alibaba will most likely have knock off phones. I am in the cellphone business been there for over 5 years own a successful online shop and ebay power seller status and honestly you cant just find people online that wholesale phones i wholesale as well. You have to literally go to hongkong and so on meet people and find direct wholesalers and so on. |
