Ebay can be fantastic and it can be evil ... it all depends on who you deal with and what you're interested in ... you need to watch the sellers carefully, read the descriptions of the products carefully and the feedback of the buyers carefully ... Ebay is an easy site to be caught with your pants down because there are always people trying to find loopholes in the system .. however, if you find what you're looking for and you're observant and careful, it could work absolute wonders for you

ebay is fine, all it does is host the selling. its the people you have to be aware of. I would highly reccomend the use of a paypal account and just check the rating the the seller.(top right corner says - 100% is trustworthy and 0% is don't bother) i say anything under 93% is bad.

Depends on what you want it for. If you want to buy games or music there, then they will virtually always be pirated. Buying other stuff there is usually successful, though, as long as you make sure to check all the auction details.
For making money, it's supposed to be AWESOME.
