Too much of your targeted buyers will be offline for large portions during Superbowl Sunday. Personally I would change the end date to end on Saturday, the day before and use Sunday to catch up on getting your eBay auctions ready and planned for the next Sunday.
That is if you are not a football fan. Of course the game is in the evening so you still got all day to get things done and still watch the game. |

Well, there is not such thing as the superbowl in Australia, so we will be watching.
Also, keep in mind that not everybody actually likes the superbowl, there will be plenty of people not watching the superbowl!
And...If some really likes your item and does not want to miss out, then they will miss the superbowl to go on ebay!!!
And remember, there are thousands of users on ebay all the time!!!

Auctions right now have been doing rather poorly, at least in the categories I sell in. Not enough bidders to get anywhere near market price.

As a eBay seller myself, I don't think it would be a good idea to end your auction on Super Bowl Sunday. Millions of people get together on this day, whether they like football or not. Also, the Game time runs into the evening hours. Being such a social event, most of us are to busy and tired by the end of the festivities to think about bidding on eBay. |

I seriously doubt that ebay will have much traffic on Superbowl Sunday.
Perhaps, you would do better to end your listing a couple days after the Superbowl. That will give people a chance to settle down after the game and let ebay traffic pick up.

depends if you accept international bids. theres no such thing as the "superbowl" in australia.
and other countries have time change etc etc
and im pretty sure it wont stop women bidding because not many watch it. |
