Is it possible to make $ answering surveys? For real - not a load of crap?

I've checked out a number of these sites and it seems almost impossible to make any money (I don't buy the claims about hundreds per month), and most of them want to enter you in a sweepstake instead. I'm concerned about putting out personal info. on that many sites in hopes of getting a cheque. I wonder if my computer will crash from what they might send me. I suspect that most of these sites are collecting more info. on us than on our responses to surveys. What say ye, oh wise ones who like to share your thoughts?

there are more scams then good in computer making money..don't put personal info..or name...look in ur own city to find xtra money making jobs that r legite..ask around and u will receive...

I just do little surveys- I do www.mysurvey. (takes a long time to make $10- but- hey' I have nothing better to do then click.
My all time favorite is www.mypoints.com You just click at the bottom when they send you a my points email, and you earn points, and then cash your points in for gift certificates for walmart, target, etc... also, if you shop online, you go find the store at my points.com and click on the store you want to go to ..and you get more points(to get gift cert).... my fav! I've made alot of money off of this one- last gift cert I got was $50 for bath and body.

It is possible to make money by doing surveys. Probably not a lot of money, but making money none the less (as in a few bucks). I don't doubt that it's possible to make a good sum of money but opportunities like that are probably few and far between.

Stay away from Cash Create!

It's a waste of time.

If you choose to be suckered in and sign up to take surveys and get free trials considered you were warned. The minute you give them your personal information you open your computer to unwanted cookies on your hard drive, annoying pop-up windows and if you are on a PC you open your computer to viruses that can wipe you out.

I have been making an extra income from doing surveys for close to a year now. I only belong to sites that pay you in money (monthly) and have been around for a while now...the trick for me is to sign up for more than one survey site (more offers sent to me) and to have a 2nd email account just for the surveys...I can share with you a free link (not a referral link) that list a few free survey to check out
