It can be safe to buy on Ebay. A lot of people do.
There are honest sellers and there are dishonest sellers and con artists. So look at the seller's ratings and see what the customer reviews are. Sometimes you can get very nice things for a lot less than you would pay in a store. But there's always the shipping. You do have to consider that, too. And sometimes, but not always, you have to wait a while to receive your item. |

It depends. If it is new and unopened, and they had good feedback rating, then I would. If it was the kind that has replaceable heads and stuff, I'm not sure, but I'm a little germaphobic. |

Since you asked about toothbrushes, I bought some toothbrushes at the dollar store and cheap ones at my grocery store and the bristles fell out when I brushed my teeth. As far as ebay, check the seller's return policy and and feedback. |

I have made several purchases on ebay.
~Be sure to check the sellers feedback beforehand. Don't purchase from someone with less than 90% positive. (or thereabouts)
~Ask for a shipping quote before bidding and take this into account in your highest bid.
~Check their payment options. (I recomend starting/using a paypal account)
~Read ALL the terms/conditions listed on the auction.
I am not sure I would choose to purchase a toothbrush though. If it is a seller that specializes in them okay, but if they sell a big mix of odds & ends I would not. You can never be sure it is new, unless it comes in a SEALED package. |

It's tottaly safe and if you get it and there is something wrong with it you should see if you could get your money back or something but i buy from ebay all the time and it's great nothing has ever went wrong. |
