Do you like him? Why or why not? He seems like such a nice individual. Still, however, I'm not convinced to use Geico. The gecko himself is just entertaining per se. What makes commercials convincing? I think Quizno's commercials are relatively convincing.

I think the Geico stands for Government Employees Insurance Company. Therefore, they should be a nationwide company...if that is important to you. The important things when buying insurance of any kind should be their service, how fast they respond to a claim, and price. If Geico fulfills those needs, then why not give them a shot?
The gecko should not be a determining factor in which insurance company to choose. For example, would you choose Charmin Bath Tissue simply because there is a family of bears that use it?
The gecko used to have an upper class British accent, and, at least, sounded authoritative... now that he has a lower class, cockney accent, he comes off as more of a comedy act.
You could call Progressive for a free quote, and they give you the 3 best policies for your particular situation... if Geico pops up as one of the 3, there's one more opinion and it comes from someone in that business. Thanks |

The gecko is an interesting character. For me, I like all of the Geico commercials. I think that the gecko is entertaining. I think that the content of the message sell me on Geico more than just the gecko alone. The gecko included along with the benefits of using Geico, seems to be a winning combination. I think that the whole Geico/gecko thing was a clever idea. |
