Is there a website that will let you search and compare prices from the leading retail stores?
I'm trying to find out how to search a particular item across the main "brick and mortar" retailers, such as Sears, Wal-mart, Target, Home Depot, etc. Additional Details A lot of answers are leading me to online shopping comparison sites, but none of these include the brick and mortar retailers, such as JC Penney, Sears, Target, etc.
The closest I've ever seen is www.nextag.com. Have fun shopping.

Currently, you probably would find none. The internet is pretty much for lazy people; also the price of stuff on the internet would also usually be higher than retail. It is a lot of work putting up catalogues for fashion and small items; large items are usually shopped more carefully. Since companies have little incentives for showing prices unless they are selling them; and market research is usually a pricy affair - it is unlikely to ever come out anytime soon.
