You can try this word directory here, http://www.words.sg, it is still new and you can find some words there to link to your website.
It is constantly getting traffic so i believe it is worth the money
There is also other ways to get more traffic, such as:
1) Social bookmarking
2) Facebook
3) Press Release
4) Search Engine Optimization
and other web directories
The best social bookmarking i believe is stumbleupon because they give good quality traffic. I used that and i got $5/day from adsense when i was just earning $1/day |

Not worth your effort, especially if your paying for a "Service" that does it for you.

Submitting to online directories worked well even a couple of years ago... today the benefits are hit & miss. And - depending on directories for traffic is, as you've noticed, not really worthwhile.
You should not be using directory submissions as your sole off-site optimization method because you'll create a lopsided link profile with a bunch of low-quality links, making it more difficult to improve your website's value (and rankings).
Concentrate on building links using other methods, such as article marketing (selective submissions, not mass-submission), to get some relevant backlinks. If you've got the money - hire a SEO to do the dirty work for you.
But, outside of a select few directories such as DMOZ, Yahoo and BOTW - I don't think that you'll get a lot of direct visitors from hardly any directories online today. |

Google is now devaluing many link directories because they don't serve any purpose to websites advertising on them. Unless they are very specific i.e. only a directory for marketing companies or only a directory for fashion companies.
I would stick to the tried and tested SEO techniques. Follow what search engines such as Google, Yahoo and MSN want and your website will achieve high organic rankings.
Link directories is the lazy person's way of trying to increase traffic. Google recognises this and punishes websites for linking to link directories / farms. The problem you come across is that SEO is a full time job, just keeping up to speed with Google Algorithms is work in itself. Otherwise it would best to outsource a SEO specialist so you can concentrate on your business. |

The reality is that link directories are not going to actually refer you an effective amount of traffic. You may get a little traffic, but the true value of a directory is the inbound link from a valuable page. Look for a directory that will list you on page with some PR, is indexed and either doesn't have a load of links or list you first among the links listed.
With the right directory listings you can increase your value to Google and see a boost in your ranks that will drive traffic to your site when you rise in the rankings |
