The words vini vidi vici, literally, would mean:
I came, I saw, I changed
I'm in advertising and I do a lot of work for Visa. They hire big agencies to come up with mediocre ideas, like "Life Takes Visa." Not a particularly inspiring slogan, if you ask me. But then they paid a lot of money for it, so they must feel obligated to like it.
I do like your thought process, although the phrase would work better as an advertisement than a slogan. |

it's horrible. visa does not want to encourage cardholders to spend recklessly. that would be irresponsible of them. if you use the word "slogan" no one in advertising will take you seriously. the correct term is "tag line" or "tag". |

Hi, that is a very clever slogan and VISA should definitely use it, but if they where to use it, are you going to put "I came, I saw, I bought" message under "Vini Vidi Visa" because some people might not understand the vini vidi part. Isn't that Italian? Your slogan is very good though. Have a good day. |
