1) Maintain standard templates for email signature files, MS Word documents, MS Powerpoint documents, business cards, letterhead, use of logo, brochures
2) Maintain press release distribution listservs for CEAI, OSTN, and CIT
3) Maintain and enhance public (external) and extranet (internal) CEAI, OSTN, and CIT websites to capture maximum leads from website, coordinate with the design team to deliver changes

Yessss.. way too low... I use to do 1, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 10 and I was paid $32,000 a year.... I am well beyond that now in another field but you sure expect a lot of organizational skills and management expertise for such a low salary. I wouldn't even apply.

It does seem low, especially with all the responsibilties you listed. (I'm not really familiar though with the programs/websites you mentioned though)
What part of the country are you living in...if you are living in a major city ...I would think it is definitely low. However, if it's a small town....that might be a common rate for similar jobs. |

That does seem to be a good amount of responsibility for such a low offer. I think judging the offer also depends on where it's located. Is it in NYC, where you'd be in poverty? Or somewhere in the midwest, where 27k wouldn't be that bad.
Also remember to look beyond the dollar amount, and consider benefits such as 401k (do they match?), health care, time off for babies, vacation time, etc. |

There is a general consensus here that whether or not your salary is fair is dependent upon where you live and your level of experience.
You may wish to check out some of the Salary Reports that are available online to see how this salary compares with similar jobs where you live. I've listed one below for you.
Also, if you feel the salary is a bit low, you might "counter" by requesting a salary review after 90 days of employment.

Um..yeah....but it depends on your experience and qualifications...and I would think you have to be VERY experienced to qualify for this position....I would not take on so much responsibility and work for that amount of money...most Administrative Assistants make this amount... |

Sounds like a good opening salary, but think I would offer a raise after 90 days probation period. Maybe to 30,000. This will give you time to see if the person will work out and a reason for the person to show you what they are made of for the job. |
