Looking for a way to advertise my forum without paying?

My forum is still new but slowly getting up and going i need someway to advertise it without haveing to pay

The time frame required for forums to get popular is more than a normal website. you can try submitting your site to all the directories and link exchange sites listed above.

But let your concentration be on the content part. If you have good content that creates stickyness to people, then the word will spread automatically. If the content is dry, then you will end up listing in all the free directories but no traffic at all.

keep a target time for you and try a mix of the above methods.and dont compromise on quality.
