Its not seen as credible business shopfront (maybe for creatives - not products tho'). Depending on scale/market either try ebay shop or get your own.

From past exoerience i have found that the best way to start the bal rolling is to have your own website cause im only 14 i find it much easier to have a website as people think woohhh look their really professional they have a website and everything. but make sure you have an eye catching design that will make people think yes im gonna get one..
whereas myspace makes people think Cheap...but its best to have both...
and marketing your idea is easy just contact some web owners eg. me (i own 3 websites) and say please could i advertise on your wesbite. it does cost a bit but its worth it.

yes its a good way to let people know about your business..someone with a fashion "house" added me as a friend and they just started advertising on the internet to give people a idea about their product. it works for bands etc. so i don't see why it wouldnt work for products etc.

spend the 100 bucks and get a real website, no reputable dealer, seller, higher up would take u seriously of myspace...common sense.

depends on ur product and audience.
because myspace is really good for design companys and clothing simple because u can either design for bands or get them as sponsers to spread the word.
but myspace is quiet good at spreading the message for advertising
