How long is a piece of string? That's how general your question is. It depends on the area, competition and resources. How much money have you got to spend on a marketing budget, you can do it as fancy as you want or work extremely hard to get yourself around.
Generally, local advertising, alliances with other companies, yellow pages and the very important referral.

Moving one's home is one of the most traumatic times and the best way to market your services is to deliver a reliable, efficient and friendly one. Nowadays, there are so many cowboys in this area that if you can show that you can do it well, word-of-mouth will soon be your best marketing tool. You could spend a fortune on marketing, but if you have unhappy clients, you could be sunk very quickly. I would print some attractive business cards and give them out liberally to satisfied clients who can pass them on to friends. They are your best salesmen. |
