I find writing on shorts (or on the front of most tee shirts) to be offensive and disturbing.
I think, in most cases, the people wearing the clothes are oblivious to the message. The only way to be certain is to ask them if the message that you perceive is what they intended on sending.
However, I've seen parents dress their itty bittys in such almost porn clothing, and just shutter at the thought of how the kids are going to be perceived... |

Those shorts/sweats are saying nothing more or less than "Look at my ***!!" So, as a man, I will do my job and take a look. In the back of my mind though I know that those types of girls are really high maintenance and it is probably not worth the effort to even attempt a conversation with them.
The worst is when girls who are ugly or overweight are wearing shorts or sweats like that. It definately brings down my day a little bit. Kind of the same thing when you pull up next to a VW Bug/Jetta and instead of the driver being a hot girl there is an ugly/fat girl driving or even sometimes a guy, in that split second I feel a little sad. You guys from So-Cal know what I am talking about. |
