I would not say that you are "close minded." Being skeptical is healthy so long as you research before knowing and preaching it as a scam. Believing it is a scam should encourage research. I do have experience in MLM and know several things about the industry as a whole. Many think that most MLM companies are classified as scams. I feel that is due to the marketing tactics taught traditionally through MLM/Network Marketing. I have a couple of links in my profile page that pertain to the facts of the industry. I also have many other links that are not listed. It is helpful to know the industry prior to getting involved. I would be happy to share those links .I congratulate you on your caring for your friend. That is great that you wish to help. I hope that in turn you will remain positive and support of your friend as needed.

I'm not in Arbonne but I have had some female friends make some pretty good money with it. Here are the facts: If you advertise, you will make money. If you dont, you wont. Thats with any direct selling business. I just hate it when people join businesses......advertise very very very badly, then bash the company and say its a scam. |

I'm not sure that Arbonne is MLM people tend to believe all Direct Sales companies are MLM and the term is used like Kleenex. Arbonne is not a scam it has been around for over 25 years. I am not an Arbonne consultant I actually sell for a different direct sales company so not sure why you feel it is a scam usually I find people who feel that way are just uninformed as I was about direct sales in general. |

Arbonne is a member of the DSA, and no, it is not a "Scam"
Like the first poster said, if you are investing money in something and not receiving any products, just simply the promise of future wealth after you find more people to invest money in nothing, then that would be a scam.
Arbonne is an excellent company that carries phenomenal products. I love them. They distribute through consultants, and the money that would normally be divided up between advertisers, wharehousers and retailers is all directed to that consultant because they rely solely on word-of-mouth advertising and personal service.
Maybe you should try to support your friend? He or she would surely appreciate that in a friend! |
