Astrology needs no advertisement. I too faced the same problem during my initial days.
If one client is satisfied -the person may recommend to other one..thus she will start getting good clients. Where is she located. I will do my best, because there is similarity in our profession.
You have confidence that your mum is good astrologer ...but still the "appreciation" should come from the mouth of clients. I am speaking from my own experience. However my wife or my brother speak good of me will not make me happy but when the same word comes from the mouth of any of my clients--then that will be equal to receiving one STAR from the Almighty!!!! |

Suggest to her to devote time to answering astrological queries on Yahoo answers if she is, as you claim,is the best astrologer. However, I did find some contradictions in your narration when you say she is new in the field and also the best. |

I just say That do advertising like paper ads regularly for few days and then after when people start coming to your mom and then after if they got satisfied with their astrology automatically through peple's mouth publicity the business will grow up.. |

It depends on your location. I live in a large city and there are many free publications that practitioners like your mom take ads in. Some have storefronts. Some get their friends and then their clients to have home parties to do mini readings and meet new client prospects. I met my astrologer Anita Sands Hernandez on Backpage Ads, and she funnels a lot of business through her many web postings of articles that people go and read. She sends out newsletters to people who are interested and ask to be on her list.

tell your mom to contact to any good avertisiing agency and try to have a good relationship with the advertsing agencies and real estate people. make her to do sponser in difernat media show and ask her avdvertise in radio first in less budget my seeing the prime time

1. I'd start by looking for groups of people who would be interested, and then offer to do a FREE reading for someone in the group.
2. How about offering to do a free class about Astrology at the local libraries, handing out business cards. (Again, do a free reading, and discuss the theory of Astrology, don't really teach all the techniques.)
3. If there is a fair or carnival in your area, see if you can setup a simple booth, to tell people about Astrology, offering a give away of a few free readings.
All of those items are to gather awareness of your mother, and get the Word Of Mouth advertising started, and growing. |
