I like "retro-golf" or you could find actual old names and resurrect one of those.
As another pointed out.. the name will NOT determine your success or failure... your real challenges are:
- location
- reaching your target market
- building an experience and process that brings 'em back again and again
Hours: that's tactical. You can always change based on demand. I know places that close at 8, and others that are open all night, year round. It all depends on what hours YOU want to work, and your ability to get customers in the door to support your income goals. |

I am not really sure of the name - definitely a popular name from the 60's. You should have the music from that era playing outside.
You could also sell the following candy: Flying saucers, candy buttons, Atomic Fireballs, Boston baked beans, Bottlecaps, candy cigarettes, candy lipstick, candy necklace, gold mine gum, Good N Plenty, Bit-O-Honey, hot dog bubble gum, Jawbreakers, Lemonheads, Clark bar, Necco Wafers, Pez, Fun Dip, Pixy Stix, Red Hots, Razzles, Ring Pop, Slo-Poke, Smarties, Sugar Daddy sucker, Sweetarts, Tootsie Roll, Twizzler licorice and wax lips.
No one else in your town probably sells that - people would know that when they come to you putt putt golf - they can get something different.
Also offer simple foods like hotdogs, corndogs, lemonade
Hours should be Tue - Sun 10:00am-9:00pm during the summer and then after school goes back - Tue-Fri 5:00pm-9:00pm and then Sat-Sun 10-9

You want to totally exploit the nostalgic aspects and brand yourself accordingly. A catch phrase is of course part of the plan, and we have professional copywriters that could provide that. In the 21st century, however, a website is every bit as relevant to ANY business as being listed in the telephone book.
