I've had a website for a year now and the best I had in a few last weeks was 582 hits. But it's below par. It depends on the type of your website. I think 1000 Hits per day is good for a sound start. |

I think it depends or your niche really, how much you put into marketing and how good your site actually is. I wouldn't compare to others but set a goal for what you want and then find a way to generate that kind of traffic, if you want specific advice on how to do that I can possibly help.

Who really cares how many visitors you get from your site, it is the quality of the traffic not I have a billion people looking at one page and just leaving. Start thinking about the amount of time they spend on your site. |

Get the maximum web traffic. I would say 10000 page views per week is a good one. Get the traffic by optimizing your website. My website get 100000 hits per week and it is optimized by http://www.b-first.com |

impossible to answer! How much are you spending on marketing? You need to be able to track your visitors & if they're making money.
E.g. if you make £100 on average profit from a customer, how many visitors do you need to convert into customers? 10, 20, 50? If it takes 50 visitors on average to convert to a customer, then you need to spend less than £2 to attract that visitor. You could start a PPC campaign, and bid up to £1. If you bid beyond £2 you will be loosing money.
It's all about the numbers. Tracking & conversion rates. |
